 Choose to include all "categories", i.e., columns from the question, or choose to

show only a select few.

 Sort the data by descending or ascending values.

For a Rating question, choose Chart Average Values to plot only the Rating Averages.

Step 5: Click Download Chart button. This downloads the image to your computer. It

saves it as a PNG format. Once it is saved, you can open it in your own image editing

program to save it as another file type.

NOTE: Export the data into Excel if you need to build more complex graphs. For more

Questions types or analysis features that interfere with Custom

Charts:

With the way our charting feature works, it uses two dimensions of data.

 Matrix with Menu: This question type has three dimensions. Because of this, it

cannot be graphed by our system.

 Matrix (one answer or multiple answers per row): This cannot be charted when a

cross tab is active due to the three dimensions of data. Remove the cross tab to

graph this.

 Active Cross Tabs: Cross Tabbed Rating Question - A cross tabbed rating scale

has three dimensions. However, by only graphing the rating averages, it uses

only two dimensions. Due to this, only the rating averages will be graphed when

a cross tab is active.

Pie Charts: These charting options aren’t available for Rating and Matrix questions due

to the complexity of the tables created to present this data. In addition, this chart is not

available when a cross tab is active.
